Angler Fish

Originally this piece was created as an assignment for my design class. In the assignment we took letters of the alphabet and tried to view each letter objectively and expand upon the shape without reference to its meaning. Can you guess what letter the angler fish was modeled after? K. It was a fun assignment and after it was over I decided to take the fish further and colored it using Photoshop. I was going for a grunge look, and the edges are purposely left rough. I could see this fish on the bottom of a skateboard, or on a t-shirt.
